This webinar features a panel of Program Directors and Directors of Osteopathic Education from GME programs with ACGME Osteopathic Recognition (OR), who will share their experiences of how they overcame the challenges of applying for and achieving OR for their programs so others interested in OR can learn from those challenges and make it easier to apply for and achieve OR.
Webinar Objectives:
• Understand the ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Application Process – Gain insight into the requirements, application steps and key components necessary to achieve OR for your GME program.
• Identify Common Challenges and Solutions to Applying for and Achieving OR – Learn from experienced program leaders about obstacles encountered during the OR application process and the strategies they used to overcome them.
• Explore Strategic Plans for Achieving OR – Discover practical approaches for integrating osteopathic principles into residency training, securing faculty and institutional support and sustaining OR long-term.
